Some healing thoughts sent to you with love from Didi

#1 - I must understand that even though it's elective, I just had major surgery and it's perfectly normal to feel depressed and regretful after two or three days postop. These feelings will pass in the next week or so and then I'll be so happy I did this!

#2 - When I'm having these terrible feelings, I must lie down, relax, close my eyes and breathe deeply and slowly until the feeling subsides.

#3 - When I'm feeling this way I will sit down, rest and close my eyes and think about the fact that I've waited a long time for this amazing opportunity and now that it's here I will do my best to focus on the "Prize" which will be here at the end of the entire healing process. Every day is another day closer to that long-awaited "Prize" which is a newer, younger me.

#4 - I just had major surgery and it's perfectly normal to look this way at this point of the healing process. It's just the beginning and I must have patience. With patience and time will come the "prize" I've been waiting for.

#5 - These awful feelings will come and go in the beginning of the healing process, but I know that in the end, when the healing process has run its course, I'm going to look ten to fifteen years younger and that's DA-BOMB, Girlfriend!
