Checking In to Cima Hospital -
This is me, checking into Hospital Cima. I was checking in at almost right after day break on April 6th, 2009. I was asked to be there 2 hours before surgery to get ready and go through all of the pre-surgery paperwork. Luckily I had my good friend Staci and my husband Ulrick by my side.
My Anesthesiologist -
My Anesthesiologist, Dr. Leopoldo Greenwood had come about 1 hour before the surgery to get me started on pre-medication such as voltaren and dexamethasone for pain and inflammation during and after the surgery as well as start the IV lines.
My personal nurse and friend.... -
My friend Staci, she came all the way from Houston to take care of me while I was recovering. It was sooo nice to have my own personal nurse! She even brought down some surgical after care stuff such as my wonderful ice pack masks.
My supportive husband, Ulrick -
Here is my hubby and me. I think he was more nervous then I was! But he was there to support me, even though he said I didnt need it and I was beautiful as I was. Awww... But I was glad to have him with me and give me a kiss before I went into surgery.
